Born to his mother, Kyne, and father, Darryl, Alu'Cor lived a relatively tame and modest life with his family. He was the couple's only child and thus received much attention and care. The family lived in a quaint village called Hearton, not far from the Neverwinter Woods, where Alu would spend his youth playing with other children in the forests. As Alu grew up he felt a call to become a druid, so his parent's guided him to the Lunellan Circle in the Neverwinter Woods so that he could train.

The Neverwinter Woods are a lush and thriving display of nature's beauty, but they suffered for a period due to a mysterious plague. Corrupted perversions of nature began to spread and gravely disrupted nature's balance. Animals began behaving strangely, the dead refused to die, and plant life twisted into things that should not be. These unnatural happenings were cries for help from the land and AluCor acted decisively. AluCor acted with speed and took the most extreme action needed to cull the rot. He opened a fissure inside Mount Hotenow, sending lava to burn the precious glade to ash. It was tiring work making sure nothing escaped the glade, especially against this perversion, so no chance was taken. Sadly the others in the Lunellan Circle of druids did not agree. They saw Alu'Cor's actions as hasty and ill-tempered, and so he was exiled from Neverwinter wood.

During the early stages of his exile, Alu'Cor became a hermit for a few weeks and reluctantly embraced the solitude of his banishment. When a few more weeks passed, he ventured to Phandalin where he sought to start his story anew. There he met Valindor, a blunt but kind individual who Alu felt comfortable being around. The two would then later join a rag tag group of adventurers to investigate some strange activities happening in Phandalin and the surrounding area.

Alu'Cor rests at a height of 6 foot and weighs around 180 lbs. His skin is brown and covered in tattoos. The most visible being the tattoo that traces the perimeter of his face and trails down his neck. He wears a burn scar on the right side of his face. He wears earrings and piercings in both his ears along with a septum piercing made of bone. A burn scar covers a portion of the right side of his face, another consequence from the burning of the grove. Alu takes very good care of his hair and often times keeps his locs in a bun while having some stray locs rest on the back of his neck and shoulders. His hair is black with dark red and deep brown highlights weaved throughout.

When travelling, Alu commonly wears hide armor. He will adorn worn furs over his shoulders and have a long cloak draped over him. With his armor he will wear a tabard and brown leather belt around his waist. He sports dark brown pants and rugged black boots that have served him well in his journeys. On his hands he often wears worn leather gloves that help him keep a good grip on his scimitars.

While Alu'Cor has many of the abilities of a normal druid, he has shown a strong inclination towards using fire and heat as his primary means of attack.

Despite being raised by a merchant, Alu'Cor is very reckless with his spending.
